Driving Across the Gulf Coast

After a week on the beach we took off to drive the Gulf Coast.

We passed through Tallahassee and Pensacola; Mobile, Biloxi, and Gulfport; through the Irish Bayou, and into New Orleans where we spent a few days.

The drive on Route 90 along the coast from Biloxi to New Orleans was really interesting. At times, especially through the Bayou, the road was empty and you could feel the stories hanging in the air. This place is rich with the texture of raw life and survival.

I would love to see more of your New Orleans shots. That one of Lafayette Cemetary #1 is perfection!

Thanks, Joy! New Orleans was awesome but we were there for less than two days and it was freezing. Hopefully we’ll make it back there soon.
